We celebrated Jake's 2nd birthday this weekend at Jacksonport State Park. It was a little windy, but other than that it was a perfect afternoon for his party. The party was mainly a family party, but Will insisted that we invite Miller because Jake is Miller's "pretend brother". Also, we invited the Kieffner's. They are such good friends that they feel like family! The kids (and grown ups) flew kites, played in the sand, played on the playground equipment, took part in a little rock skipping in the river, and grilled hot dogs. I think his birthday party turned out great! I loved flying the kites and I am just amazed that you can put a kite together in less than 5 minutes-when I was a kid a loooong time ago it would take half a day! Happy Birthday, Jake! We love you sooo much!
